Disney have done it again, with a new cartoon blockbuster that sustains the expected quality of feature animation entertainment.  In ‘The Princess and The Frog’, the character Princess Tiana is voiced by Anika Noni Rose, who played Lorell in the hit musical ‘Dreamgirls’.  The story is set in Jazz haven New Orleans, where Princess is young girl who has an unexpected romantic adventure with a frog prince.  The film hosts many established stars, including Oprah Winfrey, and Terrence Howard who voice as Princess’s parents.

MIA draws out the big guns

May 16, 2009

Speaking of MIA: newborn Ikhyd’s mother must get a shout out: the Tamil ‘Paper Planes’ star has kept up the relentless campaign to stop the execution of Tamil’s in Sri Lanka.
The ‘Slum Dog’ millionaire (she must have accrued that much by now?) has been out spreading the news to two of her new mates: undeniably two of the biggest female influences in the world: Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama.

MIA, Michelle, and Oprah; could this be more help for Tamil's?

Oprah apparently held Mathangi’s (MIA’s real name) hand as she expressed her superstar sympathy for the young Tamil’s plight. The two attended an event where Michelle gave a speech.
Hopefully with top notch allies like these, the ambassador artist can bring some urgent substantial support for the current Tamil catastrophe.
