Student protest to shut down London Today

December 9, 2010

Angry students from all over the country are expected to march through London today, as MPs vote for the proposed rise of tuition fees this afternoon.
I dont blame them and if i was student i’d be right there too.

A debate is scheduled in Westminster for 12:15pm, in which MPs will discuss the government’s tuition fee proposal before voting.

With the Liberal Democrats promising to oppose tuition fees and fight any increase in the election earlier this year, only to back down down on the issue a few months later and side with the Conservatives, emotions should be running high in Parliamant today.
Hopefully the student protest will go peaceful and hopefully that wil be enough to sway the goverment becuase if it deosnt .. then you know what will happen.
